Towards the end of term two parents receive a written report on their child’s progress and are then invited to attend a ‘Student Led Interview’. Student Led Interviews were introduced at Branxholme Wallacedale Community School in 2010. All students from prep to grade 6 present their work to their parents and discuss their SMART Goals.
If parents would like further time alone with their child’s teacher, they are encouraged to make an additional time with them. Parents are always welcome to visit their child’s teacher to discuss any issues by making a suitably arranged time. We especially like the positive feedback; so always feel free to share that as well.
At the end of the school year parents receive a second written report.
