Transition programs are run each year for preschool students entering the school.
Weekly Playgroup sessions are a lot of fun, providing students opportunities to play and learn and enhance their social skills and for parents to connect and build supportive networks. It has been mentioned by many parents that when their child enrols at BWCS they already feel a part of our family.
Grade 6 students are offered a well-planned transition program. Visits by year 7 coordinators and students are held at the school during the year to meet and talk about transition pathways.
Secondary schools offer transition days for both grade 5 and 6 students.
